Joshua Riggs, CPCE, Associate Director of Private Events & Catering, Denver Botanic Gardens
Joshua Riggs has been a dedicated professional in the Denver special events industry for nearly 20 years. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Private Events & Catering at the Denver Botanic Gardens, he leads the venue sales team, overseeing 20 unique event spaces and approximately 600 events annually, along with managing the AV Services team and off-premise catering program; spearheading museum RFPs for hospitality services. In 2014, he earned his CPCE certification and has contributed to the Greater Denver NACE board for a decade, including serving as president. Before his current role, Joshua managed event spaces and catering at the Denver Art Museum, was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Relish Catering and Events, enhancing their market presence and rebranding of the company. His career began at Occasions Catering after earning his culinary arts and event management degree from Orange Coast College in 2006.
