Mindy Keyes, Director of Catering & Marketing, Four Points by Sheraton Norwood
With over 20 years of hospitality experience, Mindy Keyes is a dynamic force in the world of catering sales, known for driving innovative strategies and delivering record-breaking results.As Director of Catering and Marketing at the Four Points by Sheraton Norwood, she leads both the social events division and the SMERF market, overseeing everything from menu development to targeted outreach. Mindy's background includes hands-on operational roles in bartending, off-site catering, and banquet management, before she joined Four Points in 2007. Since then, she has transformed her venue's catering landscape, navigating the often-overlooked SMERF markets. By developing tailored, budget-conscious packages and cultivating relationships with local schools, sports groups, and associations, she has turned these nontraditional clients into revenue powerhouses. In 2025, her strategies accounted for over 50% of total catering revenue. during a year when traditional wedding bookings had sharply declined. Mindy brings a unique dual perspective to her work, pairing her sales leadership with marketing savvy to find creative ways to fill calendar gaps, generate leads, and adapt to shifting demand. In addition to venue accolades such as Best of Wedding and Couples Choice, Mindy is proud to have led her team to win Marriott's Elite Catering Sales Team of the Year 2024 for all of North America.
