    Jennifer Perna joined Blue Plate Catering in August of 2008 as Vice President of Sales to further
    expand her portfolio of over 20 years of sales and catering industry event experiences in
    downtown Chicago. Prior to managing the talented Blue Plate team, Jennifer's background
    included the development and ownership of Jennifer Perna Inc., a Catering Sales and Venue
    Consulting firm; as well as prior catering experiences with Berghoff Catering and The Talbott
    Hotel. Jennifer grew up in Rochester, New York and attended the Cornell University School of
    Hotel Administration earning her Bachelors in Science. She is still a proud Cornellian and
    recently was invited to guest speak at an Event Management class at the famous Hotel School.
    Jennifer thrives in her position as she genuinely loves her job and enjoys working with her
    team's clients to imagine their event from concept to execution. She finds her ultimate reward
    in watching her sales consultants grow as individuals both personally and professionally and
    loves mentoring her team of 32 dynamic sales stars to generate revenue over $25 million
    annually. The passion she has for her team is apparent in her interactions and shines through
    her work and theirs.
