As Director of Events & Project Management for LEO Events, a global brand-experience agency, Mackenzie has shown an immense sense of dedication and willingness to do both as her industry was completely changed as a result of the pandemic. With endless curiosity, her eagerness to explore the bounds of tourism and hospitality leadership demonstrates her commitment to serving her community. Responsible for B2B meetings and events, she goes above and beyond for her clients including BlueCross BlueShield, The Home Depot Foundation, Tennessee Valley Authority, Volkswagen, and many others, ensuring each event is a success. Her well-rounded experience with corporate and non-profit clients within the hospitality and tourism industry positions her with a unique leadership perspective on what companies and individuals are confronting as they reimagine how to meet, engage, grow, learn, and inspire.
Mackenzie works from pitch to production for her clients, leading efforts on event content, creative, and execution. Mackenzie manages on-site program event operations, leads client site visits, and executes Destination Management Center (DMC) programs for the city of Chattanooga. Active in the Chattanooga community, Mackenzie serves on the Young Professionals of Chattanooga Advisory Board, Professional Development Committee, and on the United Way Emerging Leaders, Leadership Committee. Additionally, Mackenzie is a graduate of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce Protégé program and has mentored youth through the TN Achieves program.
