Sarah Wantz, President, Wantz Events
Sarah Wantz began her career at a fashion design house where she worked directly under the co-founders. She gained great experience not only in the fashion industry but in running a small business as she was involved in all aspects, from sales & marketing to trade show production, fashion shows, customer service, billing and shipping logistics! Sarah soon discovered her passion surrounded the event production side of things and took a job on the Macy’s Events team where she became a Regional Special Events Manager, planning and executing between 75-100 events each year across the Midwest. Following her Macy’s experience, Sarah took the entrepreneurial leap and started her company Wantz Events. Over the last four years, Sarah has worked with a wide variety of clients, from major hotel brands to a social media giant, to The Obama Foundation, planning events for anywhere from 30 guests to 3,000 guests, all over the country. One of her favorite events took place on the USS Midway in San Diego where she had skydivers land on the bow of the ship, Train perform live, a variety of interactive local food stations & all complete with a fireworks show off a nearby barge!
