Chuck Salem is co-owner and CEO of AMARC Inc., the umbrella corporation for various solutions to assist campuses in growing auxiliary revenue.  Solutions include Unique Venues, North America’s premier online resource for people searching for new places to meet, gather and celebrate, Intern Housing Hub which is dedicated to helping campuses grow their summer housing revenue through, a portal for students searching for affordable on-campus housing for their summer internships, Event Guru Software, a solution to help campuses manage conference and event business from proposal to invoicing and Registration Guru Software that assists campuses with managing all events that require a reserved seat, participant registration or ticketing.  

Chuck joined the AMARC Inc. team 2000 as Vice President for Marketing and Sales of Unique Venues. Chuck was promoted to President of Unique Venues in 2007.  In 2018, Chuck along with Neal Burghardt, purchased AMARC, Inc.

Prior to working at Unique Venues, Chuck served as the Assistant Vice President for Conference and Auxiliary Services at the University of Pittsburgh’s Johnstown campus.  There, Chuck led the effort to develop and grow the award-winning Conference Center at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown.  It is here, that his passion for exemplary marketing, sales and customer service standards was born.  Chuck also supervised and managed all external contracts including dining and catering services, laundry and all vending contracts.

Chuck is a highly sought-after consultant, speaker and educator for professional development in the hospitality industry. Areas of expertise include building sustainable marketing and sales plans, developing a culture of customer service, branding and storytelling, and maximizing event and conference operations.
