Sabrina Roy, Founder & CEO, Fluid Events Inc.
Sabrina Roy is a 20+ fundraising professional and a celebrated nonprofit and business thought leader. She has an extensive background working with nonprofits in helping revamp and reshape their annual signature events to ensure targets are exceeded. Since her career launched, Sabrina has dipped her toes throughout the industry, starting with a small grassroots organization, followed by the independent school sector as the Director of Development where she managed a large major gift portfolio and built alumni programs from the ground up. While realizing her passion for events and her drive to give back to the community, Sabrina transitioned to become the Director of Events with the Children’s Aid Foundation of Canada. Originally hired to revamp their annual Teddy Bear Affair event, she has since led it to be awarded one of the Best Fundraising Events in Canada for several years now and is pleased that they remain a loyal client of Fluid Events. Today Sabrina is the Founder, CEO and the leading force behind Fluid Events Inc., a company that has raised over $50M for local nonprofits since its inception. She strongly believes that annual fundraising events can be used to showcase the work of nonprofits, drive home their mission and celebrate their incredible impact. Beyond running her own business, Sabrina sits on the advisory board for the following organizations to consult on fundraising: Event.Gives, CRAM Toronto Learning Festival, and STEPS Foundation.
