Climate Reality Leader and Award winning event producer, Suzanne Morrell, MBA, SEP, founder of STM|enterprises, LLC | Creating Environments, and the D.C. Event Food Waste Coalition, has been creating experiential events globally and online, for over three decades. She is a member of the Board of Directors and Leadership Team of the Sustainable Event Alliance, a global guild for sustainable event professionals. STM projects include some of the world's most high-profile events, and range from government meetings to academic programs; from destination and social events to advocacy programs. Suzanne advises event teams on sustainable design, safe food and beverage management, sustainable venue and site selection, virtual event production, staff training, and unique destination programs. Suzanne has planned events throughout the United States and around the world, including India, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Kenya and Sweden, with a sustainable focus. The Meetings and Events Industry by its nature, creates temporary experiences in an extremely wasteful way, with extremely siloed perspectives and goals.
