Steve M Moore's career spans over 20 years. He is widely known in the Atlanta hospitality industry for his energetic attitude and exceeding client expectations. Steve’s attention to detail and flair for style are just two of the many reasons he is recognized as an industry leader.   Steve’s introduction to the foodservice industry was during high school when he worked as a dishwasher for a small restaurant in Southern Virginia. He went on to acquire a degree in Fashion Design, became a renowned makeup artist, and trained other makeup artists for elite cosmetic companies including Christian Dior, Iman, and Yves Saint Laurent. A few of Steve’s celebrity clientele included First Lady Laura Bush, Holly Robinson-Peet, and Patti LaBelle. In 2000, with his eclectic background in hospitality, fashion, and cosmetology, he turned his focus to designing and planning events after producing his first wedding. “Creativity can be expressed in various forms. I wanted to take my expertise in fashion and cosmetology and focus on designing unique events that clients will walk away from knowing they made the right choice in selecting my services,” says Steve Moore.   Through his numerous roles including Account Manager, Director of Sales, Managing Partner, and Business Owner, Steve has advanced with such companies as A Divine Event, Palate Catering | Design, AFFAIRS to REMEMBER, and his very own The Moore Agency.   In his current role as Director of Special Events for the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, he loves the cultural diversity of food and how it can bring people together through appreciation of planning starting with something everyone enjoys – flavor. Steve frequently dines at new restaurants in Atlanta and when he travels to ensure that he keeps up with the latest in food/design trends and fusion and how he can incorporate some of these aspects into event experiences.   Some of Steve’s accomplishments include: • 2023-2025 Director at Large, The International Live Events Board • 2024-2025 Chair for The International Live Events Diversity and Inclusion Task Force  • 2024-2025 National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals • 2022-2023 Member of The International Live Events Diversity and Inclusion Task Force • 2020-2023 National Events Council • 2020-2021 Chair for The International Live Events Diversity and Inclusion Task Force • 2017-2018 President of the Greater Atlanta Chapter of the International Live Events Association   Additionally, his events have been featured in prominent outlets such as Martha Stewart Weddings, The Knot, Allure, Grace Ormonde, and on television shows like “Whose Wedding Is It,” Platinum Weddings, “Say Yes To The Dress,” and “Get Married.”   In his downtime, Steve enjoys traveling the world with his partner and friends. He also enjoys watching cartoons such as Looney Tunes, Bob’s Burgers, and Fairly Odd Parents. “Some of the best color inspirations come from animated series,” says Steve Moore.
