Jan Levie Is the CEO and Creative Director of Handy Entertainment, an Atlanta-based WOSB, certified by the SBA and WBENC. Jan studied theater and journalism, worked professionally in stage, film, television, voiceover, industrials, as a print journalist, translator and interpreter of German and French for corporate, legal, educational institutions, and government entities in the U.S. and internationally. Jan’s background in education teaching people of all ages and nationalities is the foundation of her work. Handy Entertainment helps companies make transitions, create solutions, and reinvent traditions that no longer serve their purpose. Our mission: ensure that everybody is at the table. More importantly, we demonstrate meaningful inclusion to other businesses and organizations. Jan was a guest lecturer on Events and Entertainment at Georgia State University's School of Hospitality for three years prior to COVID. She has presented on Non-Verbal Communication for the French-American Chamber of Commerce, and was a guest speaker for the Clayton State University Event Planning Certificate course. Jan Levie serves on the Discover Chamblee Advisory Council; on the Marketing Committee of the Greater Women's Business Council, and on the events committee of the Georgia Production Partnership. Handy Entertainment is a member of Discover Atlanta, WIPA Atlanta, and the Concierge Society of Atlanta. Jan lives in Atlanta with her family and spends her free time in traffic. Again.
