Chris HeffernanFounder & CEOdlivrd

Chris Heffernan is the CEO of dlivrd, a white-label, last-mile delivery company with operations in nearly 150 markets internationally. In 2011, Chris was inspired to start his first delivery business after getting the idea from a sticker on the window of a cheesesteak restaurant in Delray Beach, Florida. With some grit, an entrepreneurial spirit, and an idea, FoodCab was born, and it later evolved into dlivrd.

Chris believes in automating what you can, and humanizing what's important. This quote is the embodiment of dlivrd's operations today and is a testament to the tremendous success it has experienced over the last five years. dlivrd uses its proprietary, AI technology to create meaningful routes for drivers, which results in more money in the driver's pocket and creates a better third-party delivery service for hard-working restauranteurs and their customers. The company's focus on sustainability and eco-friendliness has also helped it stand out in the crowded delivery market, with dlivrd utilizing green technologies to minimize its carbon footprint. dlivrd's future looks bright as it expands and grows to meet demand and advances the delivery sector.

When Chris is not in the office, he enjoys rooting for all Philadelphia sports teams and attending as many events as he can. When it comes to food, he is always on the lookout for new and unique culinary experiences, whether it's trying out a new restaurant, sampling a tasting menu, or experimenting with different recipes at home. Chris always finds ways to give back to his local community. Whether it's volunteering at a food pantry or mentoring young entrepreneurs, he believes that everyone has something valuable to contribute. And as someone who has personally benefited from the hospitality industry and gig economy, he is committed to helping others find success and fulfillment in this rapidly-evolving industry.
