Beth BraccoVice President, Business DevelopmentBlue Plate Catering

Beth Bracco joined Blue Plate in 1994 working part-time in sales and had since worked her way up through the company to Vice President of Business Development and a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Blue Plate is one of Chicago's top caterers, with more than $30 million in sales in 2019 and is on the preferrred catering list of Chicago's most iconic venues. Beth is responsible for exploring new business opportunities and building and maintaining relationships with venues, vendors and professional organizations with a focus on the local and national corporate and convention markets. She also mentors and trains the sales team on prospecting and cultivation. Beth has served in a variety of volunteer roles with several industry organizations such as: the PCMA National Advocacy Task Force and Host Committee for the PCMA Annual Meeting in Chicago and a member of the Industry Exchange Planning Committee for MPI, and Choose Chicago. In addition, she was a founding member of the Chicago Chapter of the Green Meeting Industry Council (GMIC). She has spoken to numerous classes for Roosevelt, Loyola and DePaul Universities in Chicago on topics such as sustainability, networking and business development. Beth began her career in Public Relations before moving to DePaul University as Director of Special Events for 9 years when the university campus and campaigns were expanding at a rapid rate. She oversaw events for the President's Office, Institutional Advancement and Alumni Relations.
