Jocelyn Barker, Senior Event Production Manager, Simply Fresh Events
Jocelyn and her husband Geoffrey co-founded Simply Fresh Events in 2015 with their friends Matt and Liz Phelan. Having begun her career in catering at the age of 15, working summers and weekends, Jocelyn has worked in all areas of the business. Starting with the basics, including food prep, cooking and cleaning, she eventually progressed into event management and event design. A professional music educator as well as caterer, she uses her schooling and experience in both jobs to lead our Event Coordination Team. Jocelyn plans, designs, executes and oversees many of our events, working with clients throughout the process and often also managing on-site during the event. Her passion is to create the event so that it looks just like your vision when you walk in the door. Jocelyn is also our certified food safety trainer and expert. She is responsible for training new employees and ensuring that they are certified safe food handlers.
