Hazards and accidents continue to occur daily despite the extensive measures to mitigate these occurrences. Falls, fires, and chemical explosions are common hazards. Due to increased prevention measures, most people are unaware of how to handle accidents by administering effective first aid practices. Since enhanced mitigation practices, especially in workplaces, are required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to prevent accidents, individuals do not understand or learn how to administer first aid effectively. Continuous education on safety management is a class designed to help individuals understand how to prevent and mitigate workplace accidents. The presentation highlights how continued education on safety events helps save lives. During the presentation, those attending will learn how to communicate effectively to promote event safety. Also, individuals will learn about emergency preparedness, including damage mitigation and security for all attendees within an organization. Some safety practices will include first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and automated external deliberator usage. Also, effective communication practices especially providing essential feedback to medical personnel on patient conditions during accidents. Once individuals learn these safety practices, they can enhance safety by ensuring no casualties during accidents or incidents. Ultimately attendance of the presentation will equip attendees with knowledge on safe life-saving practices, especially during fatal accidents.
