Just like dating, your client relationships often start with a honeymoon period. You hear your peers wax poetic that they are able to choose their right client and in the first meeting they know that the client will be the right "fit" for them.
But for a moment consider that during this time, the client is on their best behavior, like on first date. Honestly, most of the time, you are unable to truly ascertain at the first few meetings or phone calls if the client or couple is going to be: (1) a total vortex of your time and energy (2) will end up making you and every vendor partner they meet completely miserable or (3) how they will handle themselves should you (or they) decide to part ways.
In this session, Sasha and Mellysa will get into the nitty-gritty of working with difficult clients, how to protect yourself, and how to do your best to keep the relationship afloat even when you really would rather just be drinking a fruity beverage on the beach.
