Catersource + The Special Event Schedule 2026

An interactive 60-90-minute design session taking place live on the Cater+Event tradeshow floor, this session was created for event professionals and creatives looking to elevate their tabletop styling skills through collaboration and hands-on learning.

Limited to just 12–15 participants, this intimate workshop invites attendees to work together as a design team to build a cohesive, signature tablescape from the ground up. Each participant will create a portion of the table’s floral design while thoughtfully incorporating complementary elements such as linens, tabletop details, and styling accents to bring the full vision to life.

Presented by Michelle Joy Howard of Flora Couture and Matthew Crowe of The Main Norfolk, the session will guide attendees through the creative process — from concept development and design balance to practical execution — while sharing real-world tips for crafting impactful, event-ready tables. By the end of the experience, participants will have contributed to a fully styled collaborative tablescape and walk away with fresh inspiration, practical techniques, and new industry connections.
