As a minority with 35 years in catering and special events, Fausto has a unique perspective on surviving in an ever-changing work environment. In this session, Fausto will discuss his own experience as he climbed the ladder, tumbled down, and climbed back up. The challenges he faced at each step allow him to look back and take stock on moving forward: How do seasoned event professionals deal with ageism? How do younger professionals embrace the dinosaurs in the room and learn from their experiences? How do we all join together and create the best possible experiences for our clients? This energetic and positive session will give tips on how to continually move forward with energy and excitement and give attendees a chance to share their own experiences.
