In this session, you'll discover the secrets to running a successful and profitable family business without straining relationships. Zilli Hospitality Group (ZHG) has been a family-owned business in the hospitality industry for 55 years—an impressive feat, like 1,000 years in dog life. Our journey began with a Tasty Freeze, then evolved into family dining, and eventually blossomed into fine dining. When tragedy struck, the Zilli family pivoted to catering, taking a leap of faith that paid off big time. Today, ZHG operates nine exclusive venues in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has built a reputation for creating memorable events for groups ranging from 2 to 23,000 guests.
Steph will share how ZHG keeps the family business running smoothly with weekly family meetings, setting ground rules, putting the right family members in the right roles, and defining each member's responsibilities. You'll learn how to build trust and keep family bonds strong, both at work and at home. These strategies will help your family business not just survive, but thrive, creating wealth, opportunities, and a lasting legacy for the next generation. Join us to learn how to deliver the "WOW" factor while keeping the family ties tight.
