Do you think of yourself as more of a "helper" or a "hustler"? What if I told you that being a "helper" is actually the optimal path toward more revenue?
Long gone are the days of sleazy salespeople using gimmicks and trickery to make a deal. In these troubling times, in particular, the best sales come from being a helpful partner and consultant whose main mission is to provide a client real value.
In this session we'll walk through:
-How selling is really giving, and why "making a sale" is actually impossible
-The best methods to create value and attract the customer into closing themselves
-What personality traits really make for the best salespeople
-The common mistakes you must avoid to close more business
Karen Gordon has worked in business development her entire career, selling everything from sumo wrestling events to IT infrastructure software for companies such as LivingSocial's 918 F St, Surprise Ride (as seen on Shark Tank), and ScienceLogic. She had conducted sales training for a diverse array of companies, including live events venues and software companies, always focusing on a consultative and personal sales approach. Currently, as VP of Growth at Goodshuffle Pro, she leads all revenue generating teams including marketing, sales, and customer success.
