This lecture takes event planning to the next level of leadership. As a former pro-athlete and trainer, I teach the applications I used to prepare for a battle on the field, which I re-purposed for my own powerful events . My first event about Mastering Motherhood, included 15 expert speakers, 17 singers, dancers, and actors, and much more. It was one of the first theatrical conferences, where the speaking segments aligned with an entire script and story line, equipped with original music that was created specifically for our theme. We liked to think of it as TED Talks meets Broadway. My talk goes into how I was able to pull this type of event off, but more importantly, how I kept my sanity while doing it. Because I used my training as a high performing athlete, I was able to execute with utter confidence. I teach others how to go after anything that is a large dream or vision in the high performance way. Specifically, I cover these pillars as I teach them how to lead, how to care for themselves while leading, and how to be unapologetic when executing this vision. The pillars are: Preparation Recovery Habits Environment I cover my process in these areas that I applied to planning, and how I continue to apply it for each planned event and life event that comes my way. This lecture is funny, highly engaging and interactive. And I use sports greats like Lebron James in order to get the audience fully convinced that they can lead like Lebron--and that's my promise. After working with hundreds of athletes, and being one myself, I understand how to train people into a new mindset, and conquer whatever event they need to show up and manage.
