Bruno Wehren, Consulting Chef, Barilla America, Inc
Chef Bruno Wehren started his career at an early age, attending cooking school in his native Switzerland and working as a cook in the Swiss Army. Along the way, an impressive list of accomplishments, including opening the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, has earned him the privilege of cooking or catering for an impressive group, including presidents of Zambia, Kenya, the United Arabic Emirates, U.S. governors, and Presidents Nixon and Carter. Chef Bruno has been working with Barilla America since 1997. Chef Bruno continues to stay intricately involved in the food industry and is a member of the American Culinary Federation, Chain de Rotisseur and Toque Blanche. He is involved in community activities such as Chef and Child, Chef for Kids and Share our Strength and has been awarded several gold, silver and bronze medals worldwide.
