Pierre Valcarcel, Sales Manager, Daniel et Daniel Catering & Events
Pierre Valcarcel has over 25 years in the Food & Beverage and Hospitality Industry. Starting his career at a young age in the mid 1980’s at his mother’s catering business, his experience evolved to include the restaurant, food services, event production/management and theatre! His passion for the industry opened doors to career moves at the prestigious Royal York Hotel, to management at the iconic Shopsy’s Deli, YMCA Catering and Hospitality, Famous Players/IMAX Inc. and the Kelsey’s/Montana’s restaurant chain. As a freelance consultant in the early 2000’s, Pierre traveled the globe to gain firsthand experience in events in countries from Europe, South America, Central America, Scandinavia and Northern Asia. His personal travels allowed him to heighten his palate giving him deeper insight to the gastronomic experience. Part of what makes Pierre successful is his past performance background in live shows and stunt work along with coaching athletes. As a Canadian national level springboard diver, his intense training has given him the focus and determination to getting the job done. His vast knowledge of food, service, hospitality, operations and logistics combined with his ability to plan and execute events ensures his clients are always 100% satisfied.
