Ashley Oakes Scott is the Director of Marketing for the Seasonally Fresh Culinary Family, one of the top restaurant and hospitality groups in Arizona. This group consists of seven different businesses, including one of the top catering firms in Arizona: Artisan by Santa Barbara Catering. The Seasonally Fresh Family also includes The Farm at South Mountain, an event venue with three restaurants, organic style gardens, and local market. The Farm’s three restaurants include a breakfast restaurant, Morning Glory Café, a lunch restaurant, The Farm Kitchen, and a nationally recognized and award-winning fine dining restaurant, Quiessence. She also oversees all marketing efforts for the company’s breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant at the Phoenix Art Museum, Palette.
With over 10 years of professional experience, Ashley Oakes Scott has magnified brand awareness and sales for clients by driving thoughtfully curated strategies. Utilizing a mix of public relations, social media, account management, online marketing, website strategy/UX, creative direction, reputation management, event coordination, and content marketing, she finds the mix of tactics that work best for each client’s needs and budget. Ashley has overseen national and international clients with marketing budgets in the millions, to local start-up brands looking to disrupt the industry. For Ashley, it’s not just the “caught your attention” advertisement; it’s the big picture financial success that drives her initiatives.
Over the years, Ashley has worn many hats and is able to help a business continue to grow when departments or initiatives are lacking leadership. From training to customer experience, restaurant recipe creation and more, no task is out of the questions for Ashley to lead. Her work in social media earned The Farm at South Mountain a SMAZZIE award for “Business That Gets It” and she was also nominated for a SMAZZIE for her own social media presence. Her most recent accolade is a PRSA Copper Anvil award for a client campaign that encompassed both traditional PR and social media. Ashley was nominated as a “Top Tweeter” for the Arizona Foothills Magazine Best of Our Valley awards. She was also featured in the Arizona Foothills Magazine article “10 Who Tweet.” Ashley was previously a board member for the Phoenix Chapter of Public Relations Society of America and headed the Professional Development Committee. Ashley is an Arizona native, having grown up in Chandler and a graduate of the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communications at Arizona State University.
