Matt Dyment, Culinary Specialist, Roland Foods
Matt was born and raised Central Massachusetts. After High School he moved to Boston and went into the Printing/Graphic Communications industry. Matt Worked for a Worker Owned Co-Op in Jamaica Plain for 8 years before seeing the changes in communications were inevitable and decided to change industries. Since Matts Grandmother was a Chef for the Perkins School for the Blind and at the age of 5 his mother would drop him off at his Grandmothers kitchen he had a love for cooking. He decided to go to the Cambridge School of Culinary Arts. Upon graduating Matt worked with some of the best talent in Boston learning and perfecting his technique. He worked in upscale bars and College dive bars in Allston and Brighton. Deciding winters were more horrible than his love for the Boston Bruins he moved to Naples Florida where be became the Chef De Cuisine at Bha Bha Bistro and while working there was recruited by Roland Foods. He packed up once again and moved to the Fort Lauderdale area of Florida and has been the Culinary Specialist for the state of Florida since November 2015. He also has no regrets about leaving that side of the industry and loves having his weekends and nights off once again.
