Byron Drake, Associate Director for Retail Operations, University of Montana
Byron Drake has spent 45 years training people in the food business. The last 20 years in college and university food service at the University of Montana. He has presented numerous workshops for the campus including Best Practices in Performance Management, The Performance Management Cycle, EEO, Cultural Sensitivity, Guest Service, Student Leadership, and How to Develop Individual Training Plans. Byron is currently the Associate Director for Retail Operations for the award-wining UM Dining department. Byron has served as a Regional President and Board Member of the National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) and has presented numerous trainings at regional and national conferences. He assisted NACUFS in designing and presenting at their popular Engaging People Workshop.
