Kevin Dennis, Owner, Fantasy Sound Event Services
Event Industry veteran Kevin Dennis is the editor of WeddingIQ, a wedding business blog and resource that is dedicated to promoting continued education to wedding professionals on topics ranging from finances to time management to handling crises. He is also the owner of Fantasy Sound Event Services, a full-service event company based in Livermore, California. As a lover of all things events, Kevin takes pride in being highly involved in industry associations. He is the current chapter president for Silicon Valley NACE as well as the past national president for WIPA, now overseeing the new certification process for the association. In 2010, he saw a need for networking in his own region, so he founded the Tri Valley Wedding Professionals, which has now grown to a collection of nearly 700 wedding professionals. In addition to being a disc jockey extraordinaire and experienced event coordinator, Kevin is an expert in lighting design and event technology. You can find him speaking at many regional and national events and he regularly contributes to a number of industry publications, including Catersource and Special Events. His expert commentary has been including in a number of national media outlets, including The Knot, Brides.com and Martha Stewart Weddings. Amidst his commitment to industry leadership, Kevin makes time to attend his son's and daughter's baseball teams and frequent Sacramento Kings games with his family.
