Judy Brillhart, Director of Catering & Event Management, Sheraton Commander Hotel
A graduate of Boston University, Judy has worked in the food and beverage and hotel industry for over 25 years including working with Wolfgang Puck at Lupo in Las Vegas. She has been at the Sheraton Commander Hotel in Cambridge, MA for the past 18 years where she has served in several roles including assistant front office manager and catering manager. Her current position is director of catering and event management where she manages the sales and operations of all event spaces in the hotel. In her role on property she is also responsible for all associate training. Her Starwood training certifications include Property Service Culture Trainer and Service Culture Champion. She is also a TiPS certified trainer. She is a recipient of several awards including NACE New England Caterer of the Year and the ILEA International Mettle Attitude Award She is the recipient of the Starwood Foundation’s exceptional volunteer award for community service and in 2014 was one of 5 Directors of Catering company wide to be nominated for the prestigious Starwood Catering Team Leader of the Year. Judy currently serves as the ILEA immediate past-president, is a past president of ILEA Boston (New England) and NACE New England, and a past Northeast Regional Vice President for ILEA. Her designations include CSEP (certified special event professional) & PBC (professional bridal consultant).
